St Michael’s Friends arrange fun fundraising events for specific items that will enhance the education of the children attending the school.
Last year over £2500 was raised with a variety of events including sponsored runs and a fantastic summer fair. This meant there was enough funds to purchase monkey bars to extend the trim trail. They were installed in the October half term and proved an instant hit with all the pupils. There was a queue of children lining up to have a go while cheering on their friends attempts.
The PTA have 2 new events coming up, a Christmas Fair in school, and a film night at The Town Hall.
